Choose your Abigail's system version first.

The system is looking for a connected front or rear component and cannot find one or more of them. Check the front and rear mounted connections, controller connections, and any cut or torn cable sections. If the message remains, contact OcLUM support.

The display may be looking at the wrong input channel. Press the input button on the back of the display. If the screen does not recover, contact support.

Locate the controller box by tracing the display cable. Verify the controller has a red or blue internal glow, which indicates the system is powered. If it is not powered, check fuse, ground, and vehicle power. Verify the white 4-pin display connection is secure at the controller.

Press the display power button if equipped. Follow the display cable to the controller and confirm the controller has a red or blue glow. Check the fuse, ground, vehicle power, white 4-pin display plug, and the round inline display harness connector near the display.

The display may be on the wrong input channel. Press the display input button first. If the message remains, verify controller power and camera connections.

If the display shows FRONT DOOR OPEN, swap the front and rear camera connections at the controller to help separate a camera/harness issue from a controller issue. If the display does not show door status text, check the door trigger wire. On passenger-vehicle platforms, confirm the dome light is in normal operating position because it may be part of the door signal.

If the display shows REVERSE ACTIVE, swap the front and rear camera connections at the controller to help isolate the concern. If reverse status does not appear, check the blue reverse trigger wire and any outside or under-vehicle cable path.

This may require an update or wiring correction. Contact OcLUM support for instructions before changing wiring.

V3.0 may need a software update in some cases. Confirm ignition power, fuse, ground, and wiring connections. When ignition is on, the display should show an active camera or standby screen. Try the reset procedure below before replacing parts.

Try the system reset, then power cycle the controller by disconnecting power, ground, and accessory wires for 60 seconds. A failed or faulty microSD card can also lock the system while it tries to read or write recording media.

Verify a card is inserted and seated. Remove and clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol or electronics cleaner. Formatting media can erase video, so only format when that is the intended service step.

The controller may be programmed for the wrong camera type. V3.0 controllers function with V3.0 cameras. If a camera or controller was just replaced, confirm the correct camera type before continuing.

If the screen shows DOOR OPEN - FRONT VIEW, swap the front and rear threaded camera connectors to help isolate the camera or harness. If that text does not appear, check the door signal wiring. On passenger-vehicle platforms, confirm the dome light is in normal operating position.

If the screen shows REVERSE ACTIVE - REAR VIEW, swap the camera connections to isolate the camera or harness. If the status text does not appear, verify the reverse signal wiring and perform a system reset.

The power and accessory wires may have been swapped. Verify wiring, perform a quick reset, then power cycle the controller for 60 seconds if the issue continues.

Confirm power, ground, ignition signal, display connection, and camera connections. A quick reset is uncommon on V3.5 but can be performed from the reset button on the back of the monitor near the microSD card slot when needed.

Confirm the system is equipped for recording, then check media seating and card condition. Remove and clean contacts if needed. Only format the card when video retention is no longer needed.

V3.5 can be programmed to work with V3.0 and V3.5 style cameras. If a camera or controller was replaced, confirm programming and camera type before replacing more hardware.

Use the on-screen status text first. If the status text appears, swap the front and rear camera connectors to isolate camera or harness. If the status text does not appear, check door or reverse trigger wiring before replacing camera hardware.

Confirm the display harness connection, ignition power, ground, and system standby state. V3.6 includes updated harness details, so verify the quick-connect/display harness before replacing the display or camera.

Check the screen status text first. If the correct status text appears, inspect or swap camera inputs to isolate camera and harness. If no status text appears, troubleshoot the door or reverse trigger wiring first.

Verify that recording is enabled on the system, then check the card seating and condition. Do not format if video needs to be retained.

Place V3.6 in STANDBY before entering menu options with the V3.X remote. Do not adjust settings unless you are following support instructions.
